DESCRIPTION:Develop relationships within this supportive group of women leaders who meet the third Friday morning of each month. The Women's Round Table provides a small\, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills\, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership\, learn together and empower each other to take risks. Join us for a fun\, engaging program driven by the needs of the group.\n\n\n\nThis roundtable will be featuring a presentation by Sheryl Barlow. Sheryl Barlow is the owner of Barlow Business Services\, LLC where she works as a marketing consultant. Prior to launching Barlow Business Services\, Sheryl worked in television for 15 years\, a digital ad agency for 6 years and owned her own ad agency for 5 years. She has two published fictional novels\, Kat Tales and Drowning Tory\, and is currently working on a business book. In addition to consulting and working with clients to develop and implement marketing strategies\, Sheryl holds workshops and conducts speaking engagements on marketing and communication topics. She calls Rochester\, Minnesota her home. Sheryl enjoys writing\, yoga\, biking\, and reading.\n\n\n\nSheryl Barlow will present on "Marketing to Millennials"\n\n\n\nMillennials are now the largest workforce and consumer group. Like every generation that came before\, this generation comes with their own likes\, beliefs and motivating factors. They are the group getting married\, buying cars\, buying homes\, and investing. But their circumstances are very different than the generations that came before them. This generation is also greatly misunderstood. No company can afford to ignore their wants and needs and their enormous purchasing power any longer. In this workshop\, you will learn about this unique generation and how you can successfully connect with them.\n\n\n\n**Please note that all presentations and content delivered within or in the promotion of Round Table meetings are entirely Round Table Chair and member/attendee driven. Any messaging and content conveyed within and for these meetings is in no way representative of the Chamber's views\, ideals\, or positioning.**\n\n\n\nMembers of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce are welcome to attend. In addition\, prospective members are invited to attend twice before setting up a meeting to discuss whether Chamber membership is right for their organization.
