• Local Advocacy

    Government regulations are often best navigated in a collaborative, community effort. With the help from local community partners, government staff and elected officials, the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce works on issues that impact businesses and the region, including development, taxes, housing issues and the creation of pro-growth strategies. Chamber staff also work with individual businesses to assist in navigating government regulations. Additionally, Chamber representatives serve on various government commissions and attend local government meetings to stay abreast of government affairs and current events to steer program topics focused on putting the right individuals and relevant information in front of the membership.
