Southeast Service Cooperative Awarded Best Places to Work Designation for 7th Time
Rochester, MN – Southeast Service Cooperative (SSC) is a recipient of 2019 Best Places to Work award through Rochester Workforce Development, Inc. This is the 7th time SSC has won this honor.
This is the ninth year Workforce Development Inc. has been commissioned to conduct a survey of local businesses to determine the best large, mid-sized and small places to work in Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, and Wabasha counties. SSC was one of the recipients in the small employers category.
SSC’s Executive Director Steve Sallee stated that “We are very grateful for this award. It’s our staff that makes SSC a great place to work. We are very member focused and believe our work creates change and has impact. We are a team that can rely on each other to get things done on time, and meet quality standards. It’s extremely satisfying and keeps us motivated.”
Companies that participate in the annual survey answer questions about turnover, rate of growth, promotion rates, employee evaluations and feedback, percentage of employees injured, diversity of management, benefits offered, training expenditures, paid days off, and increase in pay.
